Quiet consulting office with natural light

About the practice

DistributedCogni Employment Guidance works with people who need a grounded plan for changing work in Germany — not a motivational talk.

Origin

Rooted in regional employment realities

The practice grew from years of advising career changers and returners across Rheinland-Pfalz and neighbouring Länder — people whose options are shaped by train times, Schichtarbeit, and which Weiterbildungsträger actually place graduates nearby.

We keep the work deliberately human and local: document review, structured conversations, and written pathway notes. We do not sell courses, and we do not take placement fees from employers.

Counsel sessions are led by practitioners experienced in German Bewerbungsstandards, Umschulung planning, and return-to-work cases.

Approach

How we work with clients

  • Constraints before aspirations

Income floors, hours, language, and caregiving come first. Ambition is welcome; it is sequenced after the non-negotiables.

  • Local labour market over national headlines

We check vacancies and training outcomes near you. Fachkräftemangel stories are treated as context, not proof of a personal offer.

  • Written notes you can reuse

After consultations you leave with a pathway you can show a partner, caseworker, or Weiterbildungsträger — not only verbal advice.

Values in practice

Honesty about poor-fit courses. Respect for breaks taken for family or health. Clear fees before work begins. When a question needs a lawyer, Arzt, or Agentur für Arbeit decision, we say so and stop short of pretending otherwise.
