Funding checks before you sign a Weiterbildung contract

Course sales conversations move quickly. Contracts less so. Before you sign anything for a reskilling pathway in Germany, separate eligibility talk from marketing claims.

Checklist we use with clients

• Has your Arbeitsagentur or Jobcenter caseworker confirmed in writing what they may fund for your specific measure?
• Does the Anbieter hold the approvals required for the funding route named in the brochure?
• What happens to fees if you leave after four weeks for health or family reasons?
• Is there a realistic internship or Praktikum linked to local employers, or only classroom hours?

Pathway mapping is not a substitute for official advice from the Agentur. It is a structured way to arrive at that appointment with the right documents and fewer surprises.
